Note:
Depending on student participation, questions, etc., classes range from approximately 6- to eight- hours. Lunch, soft drinks and water will be furnished.
$125 PER PERSON, four to six $110 each if booked as a group. Minimum of two students at my location in Fort Worth. Minimum of four, will come to your place of business in D/FW area.
Certificates of achievement awarded at completion of courses.

ADVANCED COURSE - 2 DAYS ONE NIGHT
Must complete Basic Course prior to attending Advanced version. $300 per person, four to six;
$275 each if booked as a group.
1. Basic survival kit
2. Steam pits, mud baking
3. Cooking tips including bread making.
4. Water acquisition & purification, pro's & con's of solar still & transpiration bags.
5. Celestial navigation discussion depending on weather conditions.
6. Edible & poisonous plants: discussion of identification & preparation.
Actual use depends on season and availability.
7. Snares: types & placement.
8. Primitive fishing techniques, and drop-line use.
9. Discussion on hunting techniques. |
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Two canteens or water bottles (filled),
Drinking cup (canteen cup preferable)& fork, spoon
Sleeping bag or bed-roll,
Sheath knife and sturdy lock-blade folding knife,
Rain-suit or poncho,
Light jacket and appropriate clothing, including boots
Insect repellent, sunscreen & lip balm
Personal toiletries and medications
Compass
Wide brimmed hat, leather gloves |
Class materials and remaining equipment furnished including tent and sleeping mat (do bring your own sleeping bag or bed-roll). Meals furnished include lunch and dinner on the first day and breakfast and lunch on the second day.
* Wilderness trips available for parties of two which include the Advanced Course classes. You do not have to paddle if you so choose, but you must be physically fit for these two- to four-day trips. All required equipment furnished including meals, tent and sleeping bag. $375 per person.
POLICIES: (All Classes)
A deposit of 50% is required to reserve dates.
Cancellation: Deposits are refundable with written notification thirty-days prior to course/trip, minus administration fee. No refunds (no exceptions) for non-completion of course regardless of reason.
